Building 91 Rainwater We designed a 10k gal RW system to meet LID requirements for the development. The RW is used to irrigate the landscape & flush the toilets in the brewery. This 10k gal system is multi-beneficial: it conserves potable water & mitigates stormwater up to 90k gal per year.
Albany Landscaping Indra provided irrigation design and landscape design support for this project, as well as instillation and construction management. This project was an entire city block long and included native grasses, large bolder play spaces, a natural playground, and 40+ tree plantings.
Booker T. Bioswale Indra supported design/planning, and provided installation & construction management for the asphalt removal and bioswale implementation at this community center in Richmond. 100% of motor oil & 90% of diesel contamination has been removed from stormwater flows as a result of this bioswale.
Building 93 Rainwater After the successful installation of building 91, the developer decided to do more rainwater collection at their next site, building 93. We constructed an 18k gal. tank for rainwater collection and use that water for toilet flushing and irrigation. The system saves an estimated 140k gallons of water annually.
Starr King Rainwater At this elementary school, Indra supported the green infrastructure efforts with a rainwater system for flushing the main office's toilets.
Tennessee St. Rainwater At this site we designed a rainwater system to irrigate a large rooftop garden for a 7 story apartment building. The system has a 16k gallon concrete cistern that was poured as part of the parking garage. The system is estimated to save 25k gal. of water annually.
15th Ave Landscaping For this project we provided a full landscape design including: irrigation, lighting, grading, hardscape, water resource management plan, planting plan, and green infrastructure to address runoff from impermeable surfaces.
